Premiere Scene's Claire Bueno grabbed a magical few moments to interview Salman Rushdie & Deepa Mehta when they were in London attending a press junket promoting their film Midnight's Children. Adapted from Rushdie's best selling novel, the Filmmakers share with us how they literally were on the same page with regards to the story arc, how staying outside of the studio system for them was imperative to maintain creative control and how the epicness of the story was translated the cinematically for the big screen.
Magic was in the air at the 56th BFI LFF as Salman Rushdie's much loved novel Midnight's Children has now been adapted to enchant audiences on the big screen.
