Premiere Scene's Sara Hartill and Anthony Bueno had the absolute pleasure of interviewing merry Gerry as he speaks with passion and enthusiasm for a film that he not only starred in but also produced. Aaron Eckhart (Dark Knight) charmed Ms Hartill as he reveals what he wanted to bring to the role of the President of the United States in this drama set around the White House.

Experience the First Ever Leicester Square Take Over with Rise of the Guardians’ Magical Funland!


To celebrate the release of DreamWorks Animations newest film, ‘Rise of the Guardians’, a Magical Funland has been built in Leicester Square for families to enjoy in the run up to the festive season, in association with Paramount Pictures UK and Westminster Council.

The initiative, which is a first for the Square, will be officially opened by the film’s stars, Chris Pine (who voices Jack Frost) and Isla Fisher (who voices Tooth), at the UK premiere on the 15th November. Following this the site will be open daily for the next month, from 12.00 to 6.00pm and people from all over London are encouraged to go down and get involved in all the fun activities!

Ya-Lin Chen, Head of Promotions at Paramount Pictures UK, is excited about stepping into new territory: “I am thrilled that we’ve been able to do something different for this amazing release. Not only does it really reflect the magical nature of the film, but it’s something fun and different for families to do on a day out in the West End.”

Cllr Robert Davis, deputy leader of Westminster City Council, said: “With its unique cinematic history and entertainment heritage, Leicester Square remains the go to leisure destination in the capital and this has been underlined by the council’s recent £15m revamp completed in the summer. We are delighted to see the space being used for family fun and look forward to seeing thousands of visitors visit the new square in the run up to Christmas.”

Magical Funland activities will include the Bunnymund Maze, the Jack Frost Ice Slide, the Tooth Fairy Bungee, the Sand Sculpture and Santa Letter activities.

Premiere Scene's Claire Bueno and William MacLaughlan were enlightened as Wisdom of Changes received a UK Premiere. This inspirational documentary charts the story of pioneer and humanitarian Richard Willem who in transcribing of the I Ching (The Book Of Changes) introduced it's teachings to the Western world. Join us as we interview director Bettina Willem as she reveals what started out as her grandfather's story became a journey of connecting with her own past. We also grabbed a fortuitous opportunity to speak to editor Asher Tlalim about how he edited the documentary to reaffirm Doest philosophy; narrator Jonathan Pryce shares his captivation with the material; Ronit Yoeli Tlalim tells us how she ignited the project; Screenwriter Phil Parker enlightens us on the fruition of the film title and Jane Corbett expresses the tricky process of translating the sentiment and the tone of the documentary from German to English.

The 56th BFI LFF got off to a great start as Tim Burton's stop motion animated movie Frankenweenie launched the film festival fun as it receives its European Premiere. At the European premiere of The Sweeney Premiere Scene's Claire Bueno and Anthony Bueno were armed with their microphone and ready to interview a host of British stars who were all excited about their new film. Inspired by the fictional charactres Regan and Carter portrayed by John Thaw and Dennis Waterman in the no nonsense '70's cop show, director Nick Love wanted to make a police drama that would compliment the beautiful backdrop of London. Join us as the cast lead by Ray Winstone, Hayley Atwell, Ben Drew, Alan Ford, Allen Leech, Michael Wildman, Steven Waddington, Ed Skrein and Nick Love share with us the pleasure of not only working on such a strong screenplay but also working with such an eclectic cast.

An outrageous comedy in which four everyday suburban guys (played by Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill & Richard Ayoade) come together to form a neighborhood watch group, but only as an excuse to escape their humdrum lives one night a week.
